Hi, I’m Robin and I love to create. I love stories, and most of all, I love bringing them to life. 7 years ago, I shifted from working in education (and a few other jobs in between) to the exciting world of publishing. As a lifelong storyteller, tales both short and tall, I finally had the opportunity to flex my creative muscles for a paycheck. I never looked back!
During my time in publishing, I have had the privilege to play a part in bringing hundreds of books to market – from writing, editing, proofing, marketing, project management all the way to illustration. I have been lucky enough to collaborate with some brilliant creatives, all while developing my craft and learning from each project. Now, I am taking all that I have learned working in and running an editorial department, to the streets as a freelancer. This site is a place where you can get to know me, see some of my work and follow my adventures into the wilderness of freelance work.
I am the father of two well-springs of inspiration. That is, I have two brilliant daughters who keep me on my toes and keep my creative spirit fed.
